Rainbows are a favorite of everyone! They instantly bring a smile to your face and give you a feeling of hope.
Maybe it’s because in nature they always come after the storm or maybe it’s the sudden appearance of bright colors in the sky that makes us look up and smile. So to make your homes a brighter place I have come up with this super Easy Rainbow Craft for Toddlers.
By the way, I was just reading the other day that identification of colors is an important cognitive milestone in toddlers. Recognizing the color and naming it correctly is a crucial part of a child’s development.
Coloring and painting with young children helps stimulate their brains. It also helps them to express their feelings and emotions and enhances creativity.
But for today, you can help your little one learn and reinforce color names in a fun and creative way by making this adorable rainbow craft! And if you’re not too sure about using colored pencils or crayons with your little one at this stage, you can easily convert this into a fun finger painting craft as well.

Materials For Easy Rainbow Craft for Toddlers
Two toilet paper rolls (or you can also use a paper towel roll and cut it in half with scissors)
Gather two toilet paper rolls or, like me, use a paper towel roll and cut it in half.
2. Take your white craft paper and draw two clouds with a rainbow in between them.
3. Let your toddler color in the clouds and rainbow with bright rainbow colors. This is the time to casually talk about the different colors and order of the rainbow with your toddler.
4. Now assist your toddler in gluing the toilet paper rolls to the back of your rainbow, aligning with each one of the clouds.
Your adorable and super easy Rainbow Craft For Toddlers is now ready. You can display it in your child’s room or keep it next to a window for some brightness and happiness.
